This truly is a brand new formula for DTG printing. It is unlike anything currently on the market and NOT a repackaging of any other pretreatment currently on the market. It expands your printing capabilities beyond anything you thought possible.
Much Wider Application Window
Though you can still apply too little pretreatment, there is no worries anymore of applying too much pretreatment which, with other pretreatments, will cause peeling, and poor wash-ability. It helps protect you from customer returns due to poor wash fastness.
No Crystallisation
Traditionally many users found that shirts might show white, crystalized flakes in the pretreated areas of the shirt when heat pressed. Image Armor helps reduce or totally eliminate this issue resulting in better looking shirts with no pretreatment marks.
Dark Shirt Formula
Until recently, there was not much of a choice in pretreatments. The process and solution was pretty much the same since white ink became a viable printing option. Well, Image Armor now offers an alternative pretreating solution with improved characteristics.
Image Armor DARK Shirt Formula was created with the idea of making pretreating as easy as possible.
Image Armor DARK allows for the following characteristics:
- Improved Ease of Application
- Application window much wider reducing washout issues
- Little to no crystallization of pretreatment when cured
- Reduced pretreatment “box” after heat setting
- Better, more vibrant colors and wash durability
ULTRA Dark Shirt Formula
Designed originally to work with and gel the white inks for non-Dupont® ink sets, Image Armor ULTRA formula allows for faster printing speeds that require a “hotter” pretreatment to gel the white ink prior to printing the CMYK layer. The ULTRA dark formula works equaly as well for Dupont® ink sets and is great for "one-pass" or "inline" print modes where fast gelling of the white ink before the color layer prints is required. It allows for higher print resolutions / larger dot sizes in these print modes. Image Armor ULTRA is designed for mid-dark colors to black garments and continues the legacy of the original Image Armor formulas. ULTRA allows for:- A much wider application window
- Little to no crystallization when heat pressing
- Faster gelling of white inks on higher speed printers (including "One-Pass" and "Inline" print modes with Dupont® white ink sets)
- Available as a Concentrate or Ready To Use formulation.
- Works great with Brother® , Epson® and modified Dupont® white ink sets.
Light Shirt Formula
The new LIGHT Shirt Formula will change the way you print DTG shirts. Using it on white shirts for just CMYK printing will yield high end screen printing like quality prints with great wash fastness. Works great on 50/50 or even white 100% polyesters shirts opening new markets for your DTG Printer. When printing on white 100% polyester fabrics you can achieve sublimation like prints at a fraction of the labor and costs. Plus, opening the door to 50/50 shirts will expand your printing options and give customers more choices over only printing 100% cotton garments. Image Armor LIGHT Shirt Formula is priced just right also, allowing you to pre-treat all your light shirts for a few cents per shirt depending on application method, consistency and area covered.
